  have two big passions in life – Dogs and Shopping! After escaping the corporate world, I decided to follow my passion for dogs by training as a groomer and opening my own doggie salon.

However, I didn’t want my salon to be just like any other, I wanted to create a doggie spa where your four-legged friend will be cleansed, coiffed and pampered in a calm and relaxing environment, using quality grooming products. Why? Because they’re worth it too!

So what about the other passion? Don’t worry, I also thought about shopping! I am always on the look out for Dog Toys, Dog Clothes and other Gifts for my Westie, Barney, as well as doggie themed accessories for me and my home. Over the years I have found some excellent products and thought how fantastic it would be to create a collection of the best of these products and make them available to you, all in one place.

As a result of all this, For The Love of Dog was lovingly founded in July 2009, incorporating an exclusive Doggie Spa and our Doggie Boutique where you can buy gifts for you and your dog, and of course all products are also available online.
