Yellow Dog Groups

Walks for Dogs Who Need Space

Not all dogs love socialising up close—and that’s okay! Our Yellow Dog Groups are specifically designed for dogs who need extra space. Whether your dog is nervous, recovering from an injury, undergoing training, or simply prefers keeping their distance, these small, structured walks provide a safe, supportive environment for them to thrive.

Why Choose Yellow Dog Groups?

  • 🐾 Safe Environment: Small groups of only three dogs, ensuring plenty of personal space.
  • 🐾 Expert Guidance: Walks led by an experienced trainer to manage interactions and provide support.
  • 🐾 Tailored Pacing: Gentle, stress-free walks adapted to your dog’s needs.
  • 🐾 Behavioural Support: Opportunity to practice focus and training in a low-pressure setting.
  • 🐾 Positive Experiences: Build your dog’s confidence without overwhelming them.

How It Works

  2. Structured Walks: Enjoy guided, controlled walks with like-minded dogs.
  3. Training on the Go: Practice essential skills like loose-leash walking and staying calm around others.

What Our Customers Say

Allana is the best dog trainer I've ever met. She is great with dogs. She has done a lot of work with my wee cocker spaniel Gracie, and I know Gracie is well cared for by Allana, because Gracie is always so excited to see Allana and she always comes home, having learned new tricks. I highly recommend Allana for dog sitting and dog training.

Ally A

Alanna was able to train my cat which I didn't think was possible. She was trained my cat Rosie how to sit in only a few hours and she can still do it today. Alanna was very friendly and I'll be using her again soon to train other motions/movements.

Richard S

I contacted Alanna fairly early on in my journey with my new rescue pup as I wanted to have some good and solid foundations to begin his training. Alanna was fantastic from the start and really supported me in developing a stronger bond with my dog and work on some behavioural and obedience issues, particularly with crate training and recall (on and off lead). We did a 5 week programme and Alanna gave comprehensive session summaries with great videos to help with our independent learning and was always on hand if I needed to ask silly questions! Cannot recommend her enough!

Holly S

4 the love of dog has been an absolutely amazing help with my rescue dog who had minimal training beforehand. Due to moving house we only had time for one session and it has made the world of difference in his behaviour and Alana has been very helpful and supportive even after the session with follow up calls and tons of knowledgeable information to help me become the loving leader that my dog needs. I would highly recommend 4 the love of dog to anyone who’s either struggling with their pets behaviour or even just wanting to teach them some cool new tricks.

Doing Alanna’s dog paddle sports training was a brilliant experience. Her comprehensive approach, encompassing pre-training preparation, in session guidance and post training follow up, ensured a thorough and enjoyable experience. Alanna’s deep passion for dog training and her commitment to her clients success shone through, making the training not only educational but also incredibly fun. Thanks to her, I’m now eagerly anticipating many future paddle sports adventures with my dog, which I previously thought wouldn’t be possible.

Alanna is an amazing pet sitter and an excellent trainer, I would highly recommended her and her services, she is the very best and I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Anastasia P

Alanna has been great with helping me and my dog work on recall/not running away from the lead. This is something I have struggled with for months but Alanna's tips and suggestions worked wonders and I've noticed a massive difference within a few days and now, a few months later this is no longer an issue for us. Alanna is extremely knowledgeable, professional and also uses positive reinforcement when working with dogs which is something I personally look for in a trainer and as an added bonus, she's amazing with people - really patient, understanding and not judgemental. Would highly recommend!

N. David

Very reliable and easy to communicate with . Showed care and compassion when working with your cats & dog . Highly recommended 😁

It’s refreshing to find a trainer that’s willing to embrace a dogs natural instincts and help redirect them towards a positive path rather than throwing a slip lead on and scaring them into submission. It’s clear Alanna has a great passion and understanding of dogs. Since training with Alanna I’ve noticed steady improvement in my dogs focus, recall and willingness to work with me. It’s been extremely beneficial to train beside her own dog Trinny in a controlled environment too. This training has given me a confidence boost which has in turn enhanced the bond I have with my dog. Really looking forward to continuing training sessions!
